About Us
Sistah Confessions is the virtual and live destination for reading inspirational and Christian literature. Founded by author and radio personality Tifany Jones, SC began in February 2008 as a online radio show. The success was overwhelming and with an impending move from Kansas to Maryland Tifany was prompted to take SC to the next level, but one thing was missing… YOU!
In addition to our weekly author interviews, each month the Sistahs meet at various locations to discuss the featured selection and bond through fellowship. Our purpose is to provide a forum that will shed light on the dark issues of this world. Our vision is to use the confessions of the authors and special guests to heal, inspire, and elicit a change that will transform our lives.
Join us to help promote empowerment and unity through fellowship. Together, with the love of Christ, we can light up the darkness!

When the person Clark Anderson loves the most doesn’t support his dreams and turns his life into a virtual nightmare, he realizes the true value of family and friends. Unfortunately, although his friends and family are there for him, they all have issues of their own. As Clark and five of his closest friends, Daphney, Kevin, Cookie, Dee and Dina, gather for their annual New Year’s Eve celebration, they are each confronted with the failures of their resolutions from the previous year. They each resolve to make this year better.
As the new year unfolds, Clark realizes that Jackie, his fiancée of two-and-a-half years, has secrets that can destroy their relationship. Will the couple be able to maintain their relationship?
Additionally, will Cookie’s lack of weight loss, Dina’s bitterness, Dee’s failing marriage, Kevin’s ex, and Daphney’s happy façade, prove to be too much for three hundred and sixty-five days to overcome?
With a new year on the horizon, find out what happens to these six friends as they soon realize that some things are just EASIER SAID THAN DONE!

Writing is one thing, but knowing how to create a story that keeps the reader's attention from cover to cover is something only few people can achieve. Tiffany Warren did just that in her latest book
The Bishop's Daughter.
The Plot: What would you do if you were a freelance writer with no prospects of making it big and tired of having Mommy bail you out financially? If you were Darrin, the self-confessed gigalo with a blog to chronicle his recent achievements you'd come up with a story sure to land you a spot on Good Morning America. While exposing a corrupt Bishop would make headline news, Darrin never considered the subplot brewing underneath, him falling in love with a woman and God.
Things get complicated for Darrin when he sets his eyes on the booty, I mean beauty of Emoni, the Bishop's daughter. She is beautiful, but not in that long-hair-light-eyes-and-skin kind of way. Their attraction goes beyond the superficial and even though their relationship is tested, Darrin feels she may be the one. Now Darrin must decide if losing the only woman he ever loved is worth his future journalism career.
My POV: I loved the way Tiffany incorporated the male and female perspective in her story. She did a great job allowing the characters to stay true to themselves, while allowing their mistakes to teach readers a lesson on God's grace. Sometimes we forget the struggles Christians face in trying to live out this life for God. Nonetheless, God has provided us all a way of escape. We just have to be willing to take it. She also explored the idea many people have about crooked pastors in a unique way that tied in the popularity of blogs and the Internet.
Overall Rating: Loved it!
